Business Services Accountant

The position will be responsible for:

All aspects of taxation compliance including preparation of financial accounts, tax returns and GST compliance (company, trusts, partnerships and individuals, fringe benefits tax)
Assisting with research and advice to stakeholders in a professional manner
Working as team player with the rest of the team

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Commerce or currently working toward completing relevant qualifications and have studied Australian taxation law
Minimum of 1-3+ years’ experience in an accounting role
Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
Strong PC skills and IT knowledge
Demonstrate ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
Professional and friendly attitude
