Partner/Director (Chartered Accountant)

Catherine is a qualified Accountant specialising in taxation, management accounting, and business advisory services with a particular focus of helping clients with their small to medium businesses, and individuals in both the ACT and NSW.

Catherine developed her expertise while working at Corporate Accounting Solutions over the past 16 years and has extensive practical experience and became a Partner in January 2019.

Catherine studied Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) at Charles Sturt University to obtain her undergraduate qualification. Upon obtaining the required practical experience, Catherine enrolled in and completed her CPA qualification and then went on to also gain Chartered Accountancy qualification.

Catherine made the switch to accounting a little later in life. Her love of numbers initially directed her to complete a Bachelor of Arts in Education specialising in Mathematics at Edith Cowen University, being only 21 years of age, she felt she needed more life experience before teaching high school and went on to complete further study in a Bachelor of Aviation, obtaining her Private Pilots Licence. Her fondest memory of this experience is flying her parents and brother over to Rottnest Island for the day.

This latest study encouraged her to join the Royal Australian Air Force, where she served as an Air Defence Officer for 5 years. This is where she met her husband and left the Air Force shortly after starting a family and commencing her transition to Accounting. Not one to stay idle, Catherine has volunteered her time to act as Treasurer on school P&C Committees and not-for-profit organisations.

Catherine is highly organised, committed to providing excellent client service and thoroughly enjoys her job. She understands the need for high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

With her calm and determined approach to her work, Catherine strives to make the process as easy and efficient as possible for all involved. She is friendly and approachable.

In her spare time, Catherine enjoys walking, reading and spending time with her family.
